Oh, hello! I didn’t see you there. Glad you could make it.

I’d like to introduce you to a fabulous rechargeable silicone vibrator for the internal vibration-inclined: Fun Factory’s Tiger G5. Tiger G5 belongs to a new collection of powerful, vibrantly-colored vibes including Big Boss G5, and Patchy Paul G5.

Tiger can really purr, I tell you what. Seismic thunder emanating from its motor starts at the base and resonate to its tip; the highest setting being at least an 8 on the Sex Toy Richter scale.

I dilly-dallied around with it, booping its stylized, uncircumcised head against my clit, postponing the inevitable. You all know what a wimp my vagina is, so I found the five inches in circumference around its widest point and rippled texture to be somewhat daunting.

After having slathered it in water-based lube, I took the plunge. This one isn’t a thruster for me – more of a jiggler. Gently rocking it up and down as I incrementally increased the vibrations, I achieved four devastatingly intense orgasms in succession.

Tiger4The most remarkable part is that the vibrations were so strong, I could feel my external genitalia (as in, my glans clitoris) being stimulated from the inside out. Tiger completely eliminated my need to rub my clit while it was inside me.

Um…wow. That’s new to me.

It was like getting an Invisible Handjob, like those Donald Trump enjoys on a quarterly basis. I should mention that it was only inserted halfway, so the clitoral nub at the base was not responsible for this phenomenon.

My biggest beef is that the vibrator is so long (at 5 inches of insertable length), that I have to choose between the curved head hitting my G-spot, or the clitoral nub pressing against my clit while the tip vibrates against my cervix (which I am not into). I have to be really warmed up to accommodate the whole toy, so I usually insert it halfway and opt for G-spotting.

I would prefer if it were a couple inches shorter, but like I mentioned before, the vibes permeate outwards and stimulate my glans, so it’s not a huge travesty. I’m looking forward to reviewing stubbier Fun Factory toys in the future, of which they have many. Your anatomical mileage may vary.

ON/OFF button, (+) and (-) buttons to toggle between 6 intensities and 6 rhythm patterns

The buttons are kind of clunky and not entirely intuitive, so I have to fiddle with them to refresh my memory on how to operate the device before I masturbate. They’re rather convex in relation to the handle, so I have been known to accidentally press one while fumbling around down there, especially when using it on a partner. On the plus side, the buttons light up.

fun-factory-tiger-G5-2To turn it on, Hold ‘FUN’ for 0.5 seconds. The (+) button increases intensity six times then begins to scroll through six patterns. If you’d like to return to ‘intensities,’ press (-) and it takes you back to the highest intensity setting, keep pressing (-) to reduce the vibration strength.

I appreciate that I can turn it off instantly by pressing ‘FUN’ instead of having to press a button over and over to incrementally lower the intensity until it shuts off. Very handy when I’ve finished and my body is super sensitive. I can turn it off instantly in the event of an unexpected visitor, and thanks to another discretionary feature, the travel lock, I can avoid the embarrassing scenario of a loud, buzzing purse.

Tiger is made from a unique matte silicone that I’ve never encountered outside of Fun Factory; it’s light and fluffy. The best way I can describe it is “silicone foam,” or “whipped silicone,” akin to whipped yogurt. Supremely flexible, albeit draggy due to its slight grittiness, Tiger demands copious amounts of water-based lube.

Another downside to this variety of silicone is that, like a real tiger, it’s often seen covered in cat hair in the wild; not bad at all compared to glossy silicone though. I really dig Fun Factory’s silicone in spite of its insatiable thirst for lube and animal [hair] magnetism; it’s a tactile treat to my fingers and feels quite organic, similar to clammy human skin. Plus, the Libra in me can’t help but coo over its aesthetic. Given how plush the material is, I would imagine this toy would make a good vibrator for masturbation while pregnant.

Tiger1I love that this toy is compatible with both vaginas and anuses. The clitoral nub doubles as a flared base for butt stuff safety. Every time I have an anally-enthusiastic AMAB playmate at my disposal, I stretch a condom over the exposed silicone, and Tiger goes prostate hunting. I have gotten amazing feedback in the form of moans, eyes rolling back, and, “what was that toy you used on me?” The six rhythm modes have been particularly effective for the guys I’ve played with. Coupled with rope threaded through the hole in the handle (here is a good crotch rope tutorial), this vibrator can be a unique addition to the kinky couple’s forced-orgasm repertoire. Tying the toy inside your partner (or self) also mitigates the finger-numbing that results from grasping the handle’s untamed rumble.

The hole in the handle could also prove beneficial for disabled folks who can’t grip onto a handle for long periods; just slide a couple fingers in to hold the vibrator in place. Fun Factory’s lightweight silicone makes Tiger easy to wield for those who lack arm strength, in contrast with comparable-sized toys.

So, if you like rumbles in your jungle and fantasize about the ghost of Adam Smith diddling your clit, you will be a big fan of this toy. Or, y’know, if you’re just a normal person who likes really strong internal vibrations…

$139.99 at Shevibe, $139.99 at Fun Factory, $139.99 at Early to Bed.
